This soft scarf and hat set knit in a combination of the brioche rib and syncopated cables is the perfect accessory for the cold winter months. The hat begins at the bottom with long brioche rib followed by the Lantern Brioche pattern through body and crown. First, brim is worked flat to form a split and then in the round, with possibility to fold it up and wear the hat fitted for ultra warmth or slouchy with unfolded brim. A simple end to end scarf is knitted flat back and forth, beginnng and ending with brioche rib borders, which are connected by a series of Lantern Brioche motifs.
