Description
Want to use a different yarn weight? No problem — a simple adjustment formula is included in the pattern, so you can easily recalculate stitch and row counts to match your gauge.
CONSTRUCTION NOTE
The hat is worked bottom-up in the round as a straight tube in Stockinette stitch, with no increases or decreases throughout. Extra length is added to allow the lower edge to be folded, forming a double brim. Once completed, the tube is closed at the top using Kitchener stitch or Three-needle bind off (see Stitch Guide), forming a square silhouette when laid flat.
The chicken features are created during finishing.
