Description
Construction Note
This circular yoke top is worked in the round from the top down.
The yoke is knit first, beginning at the neckline and continuing to the underarms. After completing the circular yoke shaping, the Back Neck Raising section is worked straight (without short rows), back and forth over the back stitches only. This technique elevates the back neckline for a more comfortable fit without the need for short-row shaping.
Once the back neck is raised, the work is divided into body and sleeves. The body is worked in the round to the hem, while the sleeves are placed on hold and later completed in the round from underarm to cuff.
Both charted and written directions are included in the pattern
